The MOMS Club was started in the fall of 1983 by our founder, Mary B. James. She wanted to find other at-home children for her children to play with. When she discovered there was no organization that met these needs, she decided to start a brand new organization just for stay at home mothers, and the MOMS Club was born. Word spread about the wonderful support that the MOMS Club offered stay at home mothers and the MOMS Club quickly grew and became a national organization in 1985.
We now have 2,000+ chapters in the US alone and over 100,000 members!. We also have International chapters starting too!

Here Are Some of the Things that make us special:
We meet during the day, when stay at home mothers most need support!
We believe being a mother shouldn't isolate you, so mothers may bring their children with them!
We have an established support system for our local chapters. Our volunteer Coordinators are experienced MOMS Club Moms who are ready to help you every step of the way! You can call them for advice, ideas and help!
The MOMS Club is a nonprofit corporation and a 501 (C) (3) publicly-supported charity registered with the IRS!
We know being a stay at home mother today means making a financial sacrifice - Our dues are only $25 per year!
Stay at home mothers of any age children are welcome! You don't have to leave the group when your children enter school! We know you still need support as your children grow!
Fun Activities:
We have many activities for you and your children each month. Most take place during the day.
Weekly Park Days: we meet at a different park each week to share ideas, socialize and discuss club activities, and for the children to play together.
Monthly Field Trips: we venture off to various locations such as a local zoo, museum, tours, amusement parks, indoor playgym, and more.
Holiday Parties: Family Picnic, Halloween party, Holiday party, Founders Day Luncheon, Valentines party, Spring Fling, End of the Year Banquet.
Kid's Craft Day: held at a Park Day.
New Member Welcome: held quarterly at a board member's home where we're able to welcome all the new members and get to know them better.
Playgroups: Upon joining the club you will be invited to join a playgroup. Meeting with the same group each week allows healthy, lasting friendships and strong support systems to develop among the kids and moms in each group. MOMS Club babies and children truly love their playgroups and eagerly look forward to playing with their friends and attending a fun activity each week. Each playgroup decides among its members when and where the playgroup will meet. Some meet at parks, others meet at each others' homes.
Mom's Night Out (MNO): We all look forward to this evening each month! This is your chance to take a break from the kids and husband. Here is a list of some of the things we have done recently: Color Me Mine, Game night, Movies, Comedy show, Scrapbooking, Disneyland, Dinner and good conversation.
Field Trip and/or Family Outing: We currently have one field trips or family outings a month. Here is a list of a few of the field trips we have taken in the past: Irvine Regional Park for a visit to the zoo, train ride and pony rides
Pumpkin Patch, Fire Station tour, Make your own pizza at Round Table Pizza, Wagon ride and strawberry picking at Tanaka Farms, Boomers, Santa Ana Zoo, Storytime, etc.
Service Projects: The MOMS Club participates in several service projects throughout the year. This is your chance to give back to the community. It is also an excellent example to set for your children.
